The iPhone 14 Pro Max will have 20% smaller bezels around the display, according to newly shared CAD renders.

CAD renders shared via Twitter account “ShrimpApplePro” show design for iPhone 14 Pro Max. 91 mobiles And Max Weinbach. Like these previous renders, the most notable changes include a centered tablet and slot-punch-shaped front-facing True Depth camera line and a larger rear camera pump, otherwise the design is similar to the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro. There are renders with a range of specific measurements for different features of the device.

The bezels of the iPhone 14 Pro Max are 1.95mm thick, which is a slight reduction compared to the 2.42mm bezels of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Creating too much space between the top bezel of the device and the surface of the new tablet and hole-punch cutouts may be one reason for the reduced bezels. With these reduced bezels, the top of the cutouts sits 2.29mm below the top bezel of the scene.

It is questionable to what extent the reduced bezels will have a significant effect on the front of the device. Last year, users debated whether there was a difference between the bezel sizes of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, but Measurements taken by Quinn Nelson Suggests that the bezels around the iPhone 13 are actually slightly larger than the bezels around the iPhone 12, so even on devices with similar display sizes Apple has never heard of a slight change in the thickness of its bezels.

Nevertheless, the 20 percent reduction in the iPhone 14 Pro Max is more noticeable than any change between the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models, but it is worth noting that the 1.15mm thickness of the stainless steel frame in these measurements is negligible. It sits around the scene, which can make the transition look less intense. The reduced bezels can be too small to change the size of Apple’s marketed 6.7-inch screen, even if the actual display area is really large.
