Instant Observations: Joel Empide dropped 41 and 20 to win the pacers

Joel Emped played his final game of the season and delivered another masterpiece, winning sixes 133-120 with 41 points, 20 rebounds and four assists.

Here is what I saw.

The Good

யல் Joel has every game in which he engages himself on the free-throw line using his understanding of the rules and opponent’s position. But of late, his occasional play with the officers has overshadowed the series of journeys he has made as a result of his physical dominance, thwarting the Empit teams and forcing them to make mistakes.

Drawing shooting files on each of Philadelphia’s top three possessions, he did exactly what he did in the early moments of Saturday’s matinee. No torn moves, no ugly flashes, nothing more than playing empire with edge power. When he did not get the designed post touches, he was fitting in Indiana’s small forward striking mirror, either getting a clean setback attempt or hitting the forearms for his problem.

If this game had been used to force the last time a statement game would allow an embed gun, I would not have been shocked to see that the embed goes to 50 points, as long as 50 points is easy. He was able to pass or pass Indiana defenders whenever he wanted, however he was certainly not 100 percent serious in the regular season on its dying days.

As it was, Embiet had everything that worked in this game, so he only had to give her his regular standard meal to get out. He blew defenders as a roller, dropped jumpers from the free-throw line, scored on Horton’s drop-offs, dropped second chances, and did everything he could to send people home with a lasting memory. MVP campaign.

This is not the most inspiring team performance in the world for the Sixers, which you would not have expected in the situation. Empide reminded everyone that if he played at his highest level on all but a few players in the entire league, he would not have to get much out of everyone. With this (predictable) final 40-10 game of the season, Embiet now sits alone as the single-season king of those games, surpassing Moses Malone and Russell Westbrook in 13 of those games in a single year.

If this is his final game of the season – he has a good chance of sitting in the crowd of sixes regulars tomorrow night – it fits in with the best, most complete season he has ever seen. Whether he wins the MVP award or not, the Empit revealed a stumbling block and significant skill improvements for his team in another special year. If he retains that level of play in the playoffs, they have the opportunity to interact with anyone, even with questions everywhere.

னி Danny Green looks like Danny Green again is a great sign for the Sixers, as long as his body stays consistent and he can continue in this flow. Instead of returning to Matisse Thybulle the reverse gave him the opportunity to start the series, perhaps they would have played the first-round series without Thybulle (we will learn more about the result). Although the shots did not fall to Danny Green, he did get a few threes in which, keeping him in the corner was a very dangerous idea for the counter defense and in the end he showed his speed. Again, it allowed him to do some drama on the passing lanes and in the mirror.

Green and thibble sixers do not have to be a proposition and / or obviously. If two people can play in the latter season, the Sixers can put some interesting combinations between the Horton and Embite pillars and throw at least a few rows on the ground with decent size and athletic ability.

You can throw bits and pieces of Paul Reid’s performance in each of these recaps. Making two mistakes in his first two minutes of action will be a concern for you when you play as a young big player, and Reid coped with it without much firepower to speak of in the game against the opponent. Fouling a lot is bad, and it’s a bad thing that all young adults do.

Reid, on the other hand, showed exactly why a lot of people like to watch the game. He basically moves the balls to the wall all the time and as a result he finds himself in many positive places. When there is a chance of a resurgence, Reed is at least going to find a way to get closer to it. It was something they had missed all season, and it was a vision to see the effort of change in both ways of Reid.

With the exception of two tips in the aggression mirror, Reid showed more anger than we usually see him. He broke a jump stop to hit a basket in the first half, and he went to the triple to get first-round pick Isaiah Jackson for the slam early in the second quarter. In just six to half minutes, Reid was able to bring up eight points, three rebounds, three thefts and four unfortunate mistakes.

If he can learn a little wisdom, there is an NBA player who can be helpful. The Sixers won his entire game by imposing some rotational changes and awkward issues in the first half, and Reid certainly felt his presence.

(For those who follow the backup center race at home, the reverse freak said that the one who gets the minutes at that point will depend on the matchup and Diandre Jordan is expected to play against teams with even bigger centers. Let’s see what actually happens when pushing. It happens.)

James Horton was more interested in his bottom line in this game, though his shooting numbers did not reflect that. After a game in Toronto, he basically had trouble getting to anyone, and Horton had a few moments where he used his first blow to hit a closeout with speed or was received by a defender. It’s never been in the headlines, but we’ve never seen it in recent weeks, so watching it every time it happens feels like a huge bonus.

One positive improvement in this – Horton, after creating them for the guys on the ground, showed frustration with his teammates for not taking the White-Open Three, which is understandable. He’s not always a reliable shout out there, however, and he passes a fairly wide-open look. His Way on the swing. And to his credit, Horton allowed some catch-and-shoot attempts in the second half. A change in attitude can make all the difference in the world, allowing Horton to create a rhythm without the need for difficult steppe threes.

Broadly speaking, groups are still defending Horton and Horton-related activities as he was many years ago, and he still makes life easier for everyone because of it. His passing value depends on astronomy. A week-long vacation between the end of the season and the playoffs may help him regain some life on his feet, and he may settle into the versatile role they need to be the best he can be. They know that no matter what version of Horton they get in the playoffs, at least his talent will be revealed.

The Bat

One of these teams is a group of young people who want to make an appearance in their game in the final days of the season. The other is a team that is confident of competing for the title and is not encouraged to defend late. It turns out to be a pretty ugly mix, and whenever the crackers got a chance to get out and hit sixes they faced little resistance from Philadelphia.

I tend to give them a little leeway here as they want the season to end with a backwards and mostly healthy end of the season. But giving 36 points a quarter to this version of the Pacers is borderline impossible. If this does not improve they are going to smoke in the playoffs.

Tobias Harris completely killed the Pacers in the first half of Saturday afternoon. He did shotmaking from across the field, helping to bring the pacers out of a zonal look where they threw sixes from time to time, and he isolated Indiana, punching some defenders who lacked the strength to deal with him.

Then came the second half, and he was basically an addict. This has happened in many games of late, and if the Sixers can get two good halves from Harris they will float toward easy victories instead of crushing teeth to beat unmanned opponents.

If there’s one thing Embide needs to re-measure when we quickly switch to the playoffs, it’s his over-tripping matches. They want him to create division using the handle and defeat close quarters, but recently several times he looks good and gets into trouble. Less, and I thought he noticed that philosophy in transition, where he quickly found Horton and allowed Billy to move at break.

Geeky

பேச Pacers / pistons to close the season should be unimaginably juice-free end this season. Cunningham has at least one shaped gate to cheer you on at the pistons, I think.

ிக் With one minute left in the game, Rick Carlisle must be charged with domestic terrorism for shortening the deadline to 16.
