“KGF”, originally produced in Kannada and released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam, is a box office event. The second installment, “KGF2”, has already taken the box office by storm with huge advance sales.
The pre-release sensation coincided with “Bhagwati 2”. Part II Is All Advertising Worth It? We can find out
‘KGF2’ begins following the killing of Garu. Rocky Boy (Yash), who created an army for himself in the KGF, becomes a very powerful man.
Meanwhile, Adira (Sanjay Dutt) comes to rescue KGF. Also, Inayat Khalil and Prime Minister Ramika Sen (Raveena Tandon) are approaching him.
Can Rocky deal with these powerful people? What is the rule for Rocky? Will his girlfriend Reena (Mrs. Shetty) join him?
Yash, who got a fantastic swag, mesmerizes us again with his style and incredible acting. In the first part he did not get a chance to wear designer clothes. Here, rich Dan, he wears colorful suits and marries himself well. Reveals style in every scene. He gets verses that fit his Mass personality. His acting is superb.
Atira Sanjay Dutt is awkward in his getup. His imposing personality and his demeanor are well suited to a powerful character. But his character is not so useful to the main enemy.
Raveena Tandon just steals the moments she has. He has got his looks right and exhibited powerful acting.
Srinidhi Shetty gets a longer character than she was given before. Eswari Rao realizes his presence.
Apart from Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj is new to the KGF world but does not have a suitable role to speak of. Decent character for Rao Ramesh.
The action scenes are stunning. Anbariv has come up with adrenaline-rush episodes this time around. Ravi Basroor’s background music enhances the overall experience. The cinematography and product design is fantastic. But the visual effects are not effective in some areas.
Rocky Yash and his Swag
Prasanth Neil writes the verse
Rises of heroism
The emotional level is not strong
The first part of “KGF” set the stage for a confrontation between Rocky Boy and Atira. In the first part, Atira and her face could not be fully seen. The true story of Rocky’s rise in the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) unfolds in Part II, and we see, as we guess, a fight between Rocky Boy and Atira.
Director Prashant Neil is not wasting time dragging us into the world he has created in KGF. Like the first part, the film begins with a journalist interviewing a writer who documented the growth of the Narachi company. In the second part, Prakash Raj, the son of Anand Nak, starts to tell the story.
As we have already seen the story from Rocky’s Killer to KGF Dawn, the focus of the second part is on the problems of the new forces.
If you look at the history of gangster movies, the ‘rise’ of a tan is always interesting, but his ‘fate’ is not like that. Prashant Neil has done well in “KGF2”. There are issues in his story, but as the film is full of many rising scenes he keeps our interest from beginning to end. Raises heroism to the pinnacle.
So, the drama involving Rocky and his new patch nemesis is not so catchy. Although big stars like Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon banged against Yash, the play did not rise enough.
Four Chapters Highlights
1. After Atira defeats him, Rocky steps back and bangs. Against the backdrop of the mines the scene of Rocky attacking Atira again is dazzling.
2. To get a biscuit of gold, he sets fire to an entire police station with a terrifying mass moment (you can see a scene of it in the teaser).
3. Scene of Srinidhi informing Yash about her pregnancy
4. Raveena Tandon’s Burma Chapter
Apart from creating adrenaline-pumping scenes, Prasanth has written wonderful verses. The best example of his brilliant writing is “Here’s the Scratch Forest”. Like the first part, he abruptly cuts a scene and brings a storyteller-interviewer scene to continue the story, thus saving a lot of running time.
Prasanth Neil lavishly loaded the film, extracting the best release of his composer, cinematographer and lead hero.
However, the film has its role issues.
Yash entering the parliament hall with his own army is like taking injustice to the pinnacle. The mother-doctor queue at the last moment is absurd. Eswari Rao-His Son chapter is another compelling play.
Despite these minor issues and unreasonable scenes, Neil reveals one after another of cinematically highlighted moments.
Overall, “KGF2” is a penny hobby. This is a feast for the mass fans. The film is pop of heights and suitable for hype. “KGF2” offers entertainment and a fast-paced experience with mass moments.
Bottom line: Worth to exaggerate
