‘The Masked Singer’ Season 7 Episode 6: Miss Teddy, Armadillo Unmasked

Spoiler warning: If you haven’t seen “The Masked Singer,” “The Double Mask-Off – Round 2 Finals,” Season 7, Episode 6, which aired on Fox on April 13, do not read above.

The mystery of show host Nick Cannon’s missing shirt was not solved in Wednesday’s episode of “The Masked Singer” but sent another disguised celebrity to the show’s final round. This means two more contestants were eliminated in a double exit on this week’s show: Duan “Doc the Bounty Hunter” as Chapman Armadillo and Jennifer Holiday as Miss Teddy.

Armadillo or Chapman voted after singing the traditional song “Amazing Grace”. Previous songs he has sung include Johnny Rivers’ “Secret Agent Man” and Bobby Fuller’s “I Fight the Law”.

As for Holiday, as Miss Teddy, she sang Duffy’s “Mercy”. Before that, he performed Taylor Dan’s “Tell It to My Heart” and Demi Lovato’s Tell Me You Love Me.

“This may be the biggest sadness in ‘masked singer’ history,” band member Ken Jeong said of Miss Teddy’s expulsion.

As for Armadillo, Jenny McCarthy Wallberg and Nicole Scherzinger understood exactly what Doc The Bounty Hunter was up to. Robin Dick thought Stone Gold was Steve Austin. Ken Jeong kicked out Al Pacino – to make the audience and fellow team members laugh. Guest panelist Leslie Jordan thought Gary was busy.

For Miss Teddy, Nicole Scherzinger understood it correctly with Jennifer Holiday, and guest board member Leslie Jordan agreed. Ken Jeong guessed Yolanda Adams. Robin Dick thought it was evangelist singer Karen Clark Shird. Jenny McCarthy Wallberg went with Gloria Keiner.

(Earlier group speculations for Armadillo include Chuck Norris, Eric Estrada, Vin Diesel, Gary Pussy, Jay Leno, William H. Macy, Tommy Lee Jones and Al Pacino. Winans, CeCe Peniston, Loretta Devine, Gloria Gaynor, Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams and Mavis Staples.)

Last week’s “mega clue” for Armadillo / Chapman was the keys and a motorcycle, while playing “Leader of the Pack”.

During this week’s Glue package, Chapman, like Armadillo, said, “Let me draw a picture of who I was at one time.” Although I was a good team, I was bad. I.e. worse behind the wires. I was on the fast track to get on the road. Until I get a suggestion that shook me to my shell. I was told that I had the power to change my life. I need to find my passion and confidence. The song my mom sang to me to get me through those difficult times tonight. It was my bond with her that was going to take me to the finals. Mom, this is for you ”

Last week’s Miss Teddy / Holiday “Mega Clue” Grammy Award.

“Some might say my career is a masterpiece,” Holiday said of Miss Teddy at this week’s Clue Gallery. “As a young teddy, I had no idea what I was doing. So I got a chance to follow my heart. I was so nervous for my first choice, I came to work! It turns out that the only audition I have to take. I had immediate success. But it was not easy. I have ups and downs. I was afraid that no one would love me if I did not use my talents. But my fans made me realize that was not true. So tonight, I want to come to the finals for them, to give back the love they have given me for decades. It means everything to me.

Duan “Dog the Bounty Hunter” as Armadillo, Chapman and Jennifer Holiday as Miss Teddy join the list of masked celebrities as Ram, McDeir and Joe Buck.

In the final showdown, Chapman performed as Armadillo and Holiday Miss Teddy as the still unmasked Ringmaster Blondie on “One Way or Other”. Ringmaster (“Team Good”) and Firefly (“Team Good”) are now set for the finals.

“The Masked Singer” entered Season 7 with 15 contestants divided into “The Good, the Bad and the Cutly”. This season’s costumes include: The Good: Ringmaster, Armadillo, McDeir, Firefly, Frock Prince; The Bad: Hydra, Ram, Jack in the Box, Cyclops, Queen Cobra; The Cuddly: Baby Mammoth, Thingambab, Lemur, Space Bunny, Miss Teddy.

Season 7 contestants together have received 112 movie appearances, 15 Grammy nominations, eight Emmy nominations, seven Super Bowl performances, two Hollywood Walk of Fame stars and two world records.

In another change, the show’s team members did not compete for the “Golden Year” trophy this season based on the first record of each masked artist (McCarthy won twice, but Scherzinger won last season).

Here is the other contestant and their performance at Night Six:

I was surrounded by some of the best people around me, wondering if I would ever get better. It made me work even harder. I always did my own thing and my guides wanted me to join the crowd. So I did. I had never been in a group before. We tried our best to implement it, but I knew I needed more. So I got the chance to do something completely different.
