1. Running backwards, it looks like a race with three people instead of Kenneth Walker
East Lansing – Michigan State Football Training, which opened on Saturday, said a little more about MSU’s plans to replace Kenneth Walker – Wisconsin relocation Jalan Berger, who took most photos of Redshirt newcomer Davian Prim with the second team. The Colorado relocation, Jarek Broussard, has not yet arrived and is expected to be part of that mix.
That’s three. Everyone else – including Jordan Simmons, Elijah Collins and Harold Joiner, who all took part on Saturday – will go for the lower role if they decide to stick.
That Peking order is based on what was said as we saw it. Runningbacks coach Ephraim Reid’s comments from the previous week are particularly striking.
“We’ve had a small division for the last two weeks,” Reid said. “In the last fight, I think Jalan Berger took a big step forward because he really came out, he was relaxed, he made plays, he missed people.”
Reid described Brussard as “the same kind of player as (Kenneth Walker), but not as great”.
Prim had already caught the eyes of the coaches this spring.
Reid was polite to everyone – their strengths, their character, their leadership. However, the division was clear to him.
“I think who will leave when we get to fall camp,” Reid said. “I have an idea. I guess who I am. Two guys will leave.”
He talks about Berger and Prim or he talks about Berger and Brosard. My guess is, in terms of context, he’s already talking about guys on campus. Berger and Prim were consistently ahead of the others who said no on Saturday.
In the whole scenario Quarterback tries to change Walker, as Baton Thorne quotes:
“Ken is not going to see you every day. He’s the best player I’ve ever seen. He has a talent that you do not see often. So our guilt is going to change a little bit. The play may not change, but the way we run may change. I’m talking about RPOs (run-pass-options) Guess you may not have seen us throwing more RPOs last year, because if that next (guardian) we were studying was nearby, you handed it to Ken.That’s the rule, give it to him, all of a sudden it’s 15 yards. This year will be a little different. I still think there are.I think the guys we have are solid players. You saw Jalan run the ball well today.Jarek Broussard has arrived. We are excited about him too. He’s good too so it’s a little different.
Berger, Brosard, Prim. That’s what the team is all about. The Spartans’ belief is that they don’t need a player in that position to lift them the way every ounce walker needed last season.
2. Amir Speed-led Cornerback may be MSU’s most advanced location
Being “very advanced” is not always a compliment. For example, despite being the worst bowler in the league, my mom was once awarded the title of “most advanced” candle bowler in Madavaska, Maine. I do not think MSU’s defensive backs will be like that – this year will not only be a more advanced level, but also a legally good team, and the depth will be as solid as they are in November. September.
With Ronald Williams and Chuck Brandley out due to injury or limited, it was hard to read through the corners of MSU on Saturday. But it’s a kind of thing – Georgia transfer Amir Speed and Margie Lowry got the first team representatives in the corner and although Chester Kimbro primarily had Darius Snow in Nickel, MSU would have been fine without them. Still a substantial look. Ice is a force. Somewhere.).
Speed was one of the best names for a cornerback. Even to his teammates.
“He impressed a lot of guys this spring,” receiver Jaden Reid said of the speed, and its length and size helped produce what Reed was going to see in the NFL. “He impressed me. I think this will be a problem for the opposition.
“I would say Speed is a guy, it’s a dude you’ve been looking for and you know where he’s on the field,” Thorne added. “A lot of times if he’s in the press (coverage), depending on who is going against him, to be honest with you, you can cancel it. To feel good about the concept of the path to that side, you have to be a good player against him. He’s a really good player. Fast.He presents us with problems.
A lot of good things have been said this spring about Williams, another SEC relocator who loaded the first season with the Spartans. And on Saturday, for Kimberly, who was replaced by an SEC a year ago, his improved tackle is crucial to his season and he’s the only answer in the nickel position.
I do not know if there is a fool of the Josiah Scott type on this list. Maybe Speed is that guy. He was sometimes a starter for Georgia, which won a national title. But, I think MSU will be new throughout the games and have the nicks that come with each season and the depth to withstand bumps and bruises, and that destroyed the team at the end of last season.
3. Darius Snow seems to be part of an intriguing group of linebackers
Darius Snow plays like the guy you like on the field, no matter what level it is. For now, it offers MSU a third linebacker on the field, basically, as a linebacker, against the big, traditional crimes, nickel status.
Snow broke the pass given by Jaden Reid on Saturday. He stumbled with a huge win, which led to scoop and score touchdown from fellow linebacker Jacob Windmond.
Snow, Windman, a UNLV exchange, Aaron Proul, Mississippi State Transfer and Call Halde are an intriguing quartet in the linebacker. We can see those four and two spinning in the linebacker in MSU’s 4-2-5 protection.
I’m curious how they use them. Proul lined up at the edge, which was a defensive decision, mainly on Saturdays. I think they will like to follow the one he passed. Snow, as mentioned, spent time with Nickel, giving MSU a third linebacker. I think we can see a lot of it.
Another level that was not as deep a year ago as it was at Cornerback, MSU seems to be entering the linebacker solid, deep and intriguing level this season, with those four people as key figures.
4. Backup Here is my opinion about QB
On Saturday Mel Tucker did not disclose what he thinks about his quarterback depth rankings behind opener Baton Thorne. And Saturday’s practice did not clarify anything. Redshirt Sophomore Nova Kim no. 2 became, but it may be that it pays homage to the next old boy. My guts are that if the season is going on right now and Thorne is injured, Kim will be the guy who gives them their first shot. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. Tucker has not yet realized either. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. Are Kim and Hampfay waiting for their shot for the kick match? My guess is that in the long run, they believe they can beat the early new student Kate Hauser.
In the short term, at least for now, they are ahead of Hauser. Tucker spoke highly of both Kim and Fay, and called it a “competitive situation” in which Hauser was also mentioned.
MSU is hopeful that the war behind Thorne is irrelevant this season. But it could ultimately be the most important post contest this August. If needed, MSU needs one of them to keep things afloat.
I think, right now, Tucker hopes to get them all involved in the war and the list.

5. About the crowd I was expecting – a solid, but incredible scene
On the one hand, the 40-degree day of the Easter weekend should be considered an impressive event with 18,000-eyed fans coming to watch the football practice. After all, there were more fans at the Spartan Stadium on Saturday than at the MSU home basketball game or any demonstration at the non-Spartan stadium concert or State Capitol. So, from that perspective, this is a lot of people.
On the other hand, it is an MSU football event. The head coach of MSU especially asked to be with the fans. With dozens of recruits creating their own ideas about MSU and its football program and culture, many of them belong to the four or five star genres. It may have been a difficult weekend, but it’s important in recruitment, Tucker said. For the fans, it was a joyous task. But for the pleasure that MSU gives to its fans, doing your part while on duty once a year seems like a small request. It fell this Easter weekend – which fell later than usual this year – and they attracted 60,000 ticket fans to their spring game Saturday in Ohio State. MSU’s fan base is not Ohio State. But against whom the Spartans are competing.
Mel Tucker Interview: Bed: Mel Tucker is in a ‘race against time’ to become Michigan State Football Champion
Aside from spending the Easter weekend with family, I would never tell anyone that they should be in the open spring training without doing anything else – and Tucker was delighted to show off to the fans. But if you were not at Spartan Stadium on Saturday, and some recruitment caused a bad situation when choosing another school during MSU visits, you have lost the right to complain. Not only that but it was a stupid reason to choose a school. But it’s about recruiting teenagers. Vibration is important.
“The wave is changing, I see all these guys here, these high school guys,” MSU junior Darius Snow said. “I promised at my Spring Game (arrival) so I know the impact it could have on a player.”
